I'm pretty much just another newbie. I've been reading the forum off and on for some time and decided I'd finally post. I am so determined to get back in shape. I've done good with weight loss a couple times, then I get pregnant and regain the weight. I don't have any future pregnancies planned (not that life always follows 'the plan') so I'm really hoping that this time I can get to where I'm really happy with my body. I'm not sure what weight I'll be when I get to that point, I hate the BMI scale because I'm truly large boned and muscular for a woman (very Scandinavian!). So my goal, as silly as it may sound is to look at healthy as I feel and to feel great! I know that's gonna be under 200 lbs, so that's my target weight wise.
I'm a calorie counter and I love to exercise. I'm jogging/walking 3.5 miles 3 days a week. Just jogged a little over a mile straight today! Over 2 miles total jog time now. 2 days a week I do HIIT type workouts, something with free weights for sure. My hubby and I usually walk 2.5 miles in the evenings 4-5 days a week. I think I have the exercise covered.
One of my goals is to run a 5K by the first of the year and I think I'm gonna be able to do it!
I got serious about getting in shape in June, I'm down 24lbs so far. Looking forward to loosing even more!
