Hi, Everyone! My name's Leanne and I'm new to 3FC. Like a previous poster said, I'm no newcomer to gaining and losing weight, though.
I just turned 30 in May and I live in the wonderful city of Pittsburgh. I'm in nonprofit fundraising and event planning and right now, I'm employed at a land conservation organization. I've active in community theatre and sit on a few nonprofit Board of Directors.
Last month, I performed in the musical, Cabaret, as one of the Kit Kat Klub dancers. Let me tell you, it really gave me a wake-up call! I've been a yo-yo-er for years but dancing as hard as I did for this show really put what I've done to my body into perspective. (You can read the long story on my blog leannerenee.blogspot.com) I actually lost 10 pounds over the rehearsal process without really trying which was great because when rehearsals started, I was 10 lbs heavier than I've ever been in my life!
So here I am today. I'm so happy to have stumbled across 3FC as I was searching for low calorie recipes. I've been on and off Weight Watchers for the past 8 years- was teeny tiny and superfit until I went to college- and have tried South Beach Diet and my own thing a few times as well. I made an impulse buy of Prevention magazine's 400 Calorie Fix book and really feel like it fits what I need in my life. I'm someone who needs as much structure and guideline as possible when it comes to healthy living.
