Good morning. It's 5:30 am & I'm wide awake because I'm not feeling so well due to this extra weight... I'm not necessarily new to this site, but I've never posted anything. Anyway, on with my intro. I'm 33 yrs & my weight fluctuates from 250 - 260, I have high blood pressure & high cholesterol. I'd like to lose 100 lbs. This is the most I've ever weighed although I've always had weight problems. My problem isn't that I don't know how to lose the weight, it's just sticking with it. I'll start dieting & am very successful for a few weeks, then I just stop & eat a whole bag of Dorito's.
I don't have much support at home & I'm completely to blame for that. My husband has heard time & time again from me that this is it, I'm going on a diet & I'm losing this extra weight... then I quit for no apparent reason other than I'm just not one to stick with a plan. I completely lose my motivation at this point.
So, here's my plan. I'm starting the Atkin's Induction phase today, right now. I'm starting a journal & in the front of that journal, I'm going to write down all of the reasons for losing weight (no matter how silly they are) & I plan to read them each day as well as visiting this site for support & motivation. I would like to start exercising & actually would like to start the Power 90 workout which may eventually lead me to do P90X.
Any support/motivation I could get will be much appreciated & I will be happy to do the same for anyone that needs it.
Everyone have a wonderful day & thanks.
