I am looking for an eating plan to follow that is family friendly. Any suggestions will be considered. I need to lose 20-30lbs.

Have you ever tried Sparkpeople? There is a bit of set up with it but once you've set up a profile with your goals, the site will make meal plans for you and you're able to input the type of meals, vegetarian, etc. for your preferences. It will also keep the menus within a certain calorie goal as well.

Hope that helps.

Hi and welcome to 3FC.

I am a calorie counter. It is fairly simple and FREE. You can find out more about calorie counting and other eating plans at our Diet Central here - http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/#diet-central

Good luck with your goals.

Hugs
Michelle

I have found that calorie counting works best for me. I am able to slightly modify meals to suit both myself and Husband and Son. As a sidebar it is resulting in my being able to learn portion control. Example, what a serving size actually is compared to what I used to think it looked like. good luck! I also agree with previous poster. Sparkpeople is a great site

Thanks. I am going to see my doctor today to discuss weight loss. I am really tired of yo-yo dieting. Hopefully she can help.
