Welcome !!
Just to say when I started I also had over 100 lbs to lose. So far I'm down 49 adn motoring through. What has helped me has been looking at the decades. I started at 297 so my aim was to get to 289, then 279 etc. It helps to make it seem less of a monumental task.
In terms of other motivation I set myself a list of things I wanted to achieve. I'm 43 and feel half of my life has been "weighed down " by my weight. So I have several things I want to do in 50 lbs time, but also things I want to achieve along the way. E.g I had 10 inches cut off my hair yesterday... big deal when you have hidden behind a curtain of hair for so long. It marked the halfway point and was liberating. In 10 lbs time I'm going to have a high up earring, next ten pounds something else. This helps me. The overall goal is also a huge motivator. One of my reasons for losing weight is to be more active, like my signature says, I don't think life is a dress rehearsal, and I have spent so long being an observer - I want to be a participant now ! I love to ski, and went at nearly 300 lbs this year

not the easiest thing to do ! I'm going again in January so hope to be able to do more than one run

Clothes are another great motivator - watching the sizes go down is a phenomenal feeling. I have a goal item and I try it on regularly. This helps keep me sane.
Lastly, if you mess up and have a "bad" food day, forget it. Start afresh the next day. I have broken SOoooooooo many diets by having a day off plan, and then deciding I should give up. Girls, get right back on that horse and keep going.
You have made a huge step in the journey by coming here. The advice is good, and the babble great. The photos are an inspiration.I like the 100 club- because it's what I relate to as it's what I'm trying to do.
Good luck in your achievements and don't forget to let us all know how you are doing.
