Default a short introduction...
Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself!
Here is a little bit about me (I'll try and keep it short )...
I'm 36 (today!!) and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 10 years ago. Until then I was always the same weight (between 130-140lbs). The first 2 years after I was diagnosed my weight climbed to it's highest ever at 230lbs. I changed my meds in the spring of 2009 (again!) and was finally able to find something that works for me! I am now able to work out (with limits) and in the past year have lost 50lbs. I'm halfway to my goal, I have 50lbs to go. I am also going back to school this January!
I found 3FC two days ago when I was looking for sites that offered support and motivation and joined immediately (this is the first time I have ever joined an online group). I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and getting to my goal with the help of 3FC!
If there is anyone who would like to have an online buddy let me know!

Hi Amanda, I'm Jodi! It's nice to 'meet' a fellow canuck! I think having a buddy will help.
I started South Beach today. It seems to be a plan I can follow long term. Are you doing anything particular to reach your goal?

Hi Jodi! I did South Beach before and I loved it..the only reason I quit was because I went to University and the rez caf food wasnt very South Beach friendly But Id love to try it again!!

No school for now. I plan on going back this fall. I hope to be taking a Chef Training or a Baking and Pastry Arts course. (Good job, Amanda..go into something delicious and make it harder on yourself..jeez..LOL)

I'd love to be your buddy. Do you perhaps have MSN or Facebook?
