I'm here to get some support, but also to offer it where I can. I'm getting very frustrated with my weight loss (or lack thereof) because I am working so hard at it...I go to the gym 4-5 times a week (and burn between 500-700 cals) and am eating between 1500-1700 cals a day of decent stuff. I was bulimic for about 5 years but have solved that problem - now I want to lose weight fairly slowly and keep it off forever. I've been on a healthy eating 'diet' for 7 weeks (no snacking, just 3 good healthy meals a day) and have been exercising properly for about 3 weeks. My weight loss to date is about 5-6lbs, which feels soooo slow!!!
I hope people are not reading this and laughing at my pathetic excuse for losing weight, I really am trying. Anyway, at the risk of sounding like a whiny teenager, I will stop.
I hope you achieve your goals. I know you will sweety. I recommend that you eat snacks between meals, but that they be healthy snacks. Like cheese (protein) or an apple or celery sticks with a little bit of ranch. You don't want to not eat between, because you may overeat at your other meals. Good luck hon!
Welcome. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.
