Default New here - Just saying Hi :)

New here - looking for some support / advice for losing about 30 lbs before my wedding next summer.

I've taken up running and it seems to be revving up my metabolism. No matter what I eat my stomach is growling a few hours later. I try not to eat between meals and am hoping "going hungry" will help me lose weight.

I also try to count calories when I can and stick to about 1500 a day. It seems like something always comes up (friend's party, get together for dinner, date, etc) where I am eating out and then not able to estimate as well.

I'm 31, female, 5'3'', vegetarian and live/work in an urban area where I walk everywhere - so I get several miles of walking in a day plus iyengar yoga 1-2 times per week and run 3-6 miles 3 times per week.

That's about it regarding me. Hi and look forward to chatting with you all!

Thanks Michelle. Just checked out your pics - so awesome!

On a side note, If any Mods happen to read this, it seems my profile is crossed with another Wildflower without the little tildes. When I click on my profile it pulls up some info about someone who is not me!

Not the biggest deal, but can it maybe be fixed?

Thank you!

When I click to go to your profile, it too takes me to someone else's profile, weird! I sent a report about it to the mods so hopefully they can fix it for ya

Hi, welcome back to 3FC

The forum uses an SEO plugin that converts URLs to "search engine friendly" URLs. It's stripping the non-alpha-numeric characters from your username, which leaves just wildflower which is taken by another member, and explains why you see her profile instead of yours. The original wildflower joined in 2001 and never returned. I'll delete that account, and then change your name to remove the extra characters. That will take care of it Too bad weight loss can't be that quick and easy

Good luck!
