Default New Journey Begins

My name is Daniella, and I am a stay at home mom of 3 amazing children. I have a 5 year old daughter, a 4 year old son, and a 6 month old baby girl. And I have a wonderful husband of 3 years (as of yesterday).

I have started this journey many times before, but this time I am really sticking to it. I have managed in the past to lose 20 pounds, and I have never gained that back thank goodness. So I am continuing to lose, my goal is to get in to the 100's by the end of the year.

I decided on Saturday that I was fat. I was sitting on the picnic table watching my kids play at the park and I felt out of breath, and I hadn't even done anything. I looked at my husband and I let it all out. I asked him to do this with me so there is that support that I need.

On Sunday I started it all. We weighed and measured ourselves and every month we will update. I started a food diary which I have been 100% honest with, which is great for me. I am not really "dieting" but I am eating less and eating a lot more fruit (BC Cherries are my addiction right now) and drinking a lot of water. Also I am going for a lot of walks in the evening with the kids.

I have been checking out this forum for quite a while now, but decided now that I can finally post as I am ready to begin this journey.

I can't wait to get to more reading on here, and look forward to all the advice that I will receive.

Default Welcome

Daniella, we are glad you are here, I am a shorty also...Hey I kind of have the same realization but decided for a mini goal for myself for July, no soda or fast food, eating healthier. I don't call it a diet but just a change in eating habits and goals. Good luck and keep us posted.
