Default New :)

I'm still not sure if I understand this forum, but I know I've read a lot on here which is making me more confident in knowing that maybe I can shed all these pounds. I want to enter the Coast Guard, but I highly doubt I can enter with the way I look and weigh. I'm still very embarrassed on how I look so hopefully I lose the weight and show the results before and after.

I run on the treadmill everyday for 30 minutes, and I thought I was eating healthy until yesterday when I came across this forum. I had crazy head aches. I would only eat a grilled chicken salad, then I'd only drink water. I thought I was dieting right but I wasn't.

I finally weighed myself, its been a very long time. I am very surprised with the results, it really opened my eyes. I need to make a change, I want to feel better about myself. I'm 17 years old, I just graduated from high school in March. I left to Florida for a month and now I'm back home and I can't believe I weigh as much as I do. This is my highest weigh in and I can't keep going this way. Today I will make a difference.

Hi and welcome to 3FC.

Yeah, eating too few calories is definitely not the way to go and it is not healthy at all. Congrats for realizing that and making changes.

Good luck with your goals.

Hugs
Michelle

Best of luck to you! Starving yourself is definitely not the way to go. Being hungry all the time is a sure way to yo-yo. I'm new here too and it looks like everyone is friendly and helpful.
