i love the Mediterranean diet, it's pretty easy to follow. It's basically just eating really fresh, local, unprocessed foods with a focus on healthy fats. I recommend it highly.

I'm 5'3 and want to lose 30 LBS so we are pretty close in height and weight. I am on Weight Watchers and the good thing about that is it's a lifestyle. You're not limiting your body to what you can and cannot have. You just have to stay within your points but you can eat what you want. I eat healthy but when I'm craving something I get to have it as long as I stay within my points. It's awesome...You don't want to do anything that's a "diet" because once you're off of it you'll gain back the weight. Different things work for different people...you just have to figure out what you can continue to do throughout your life Good Luck

I am a calorie counter. I have lost 157 pounds to date by counting calories and exercise.

You can check out more about calorie counting and other eating plans here at our Diet Central - http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/#diet-central

Good luck with your goals.

Hugs
Michelle

2 lbs is awesome! Losing weight at a slower pace is much better than dropping a lot at once. It's much easier to keep off in the long run.
