Hello from upstate NY
Hi everyone, I'm very happy to have found you! I think I will be successful with my weight loss plan. There are so many wonderful people here and great ideas to draw from on this site.
I'm 52 and I need to get healthy before it's too late. I'd like to lose 50 pounds, and since it took ten years to gain the weight I know it won't come off overnight. I'm quite active and I'm really beginning to feel the strain in my knees, carrying this extra weight.
My plan is to combine calorie counting with an emphasis on whole foods. I do not eat meat. I love veggies and whole grains. I simply eat TOO much, my portions are way more than I need to maintain a healthy weight.
