Hello! I am Sani and I have come to complain, whine, and hopefully help others along their weight loss journey.
I have been stuck in the 145 - 150 range for almost two years after dropping 20 pounds after having my knees replaced (have rheumatoid arthritis). At my lowest I was 107 (looked horrible and never intended to get that low), but I am aiming for 125 so I can have some curves.
For the past month I have stayed on the lower range of that 5 pounds, but cannot seem to break through. I HAVE started exercising again (started about a month ago), but considering my caloric intake, I REALLY REALLY should have lost and be closer to 140 that I am. <sigh>
My motivation? I am going to concerts again! I want to be able to stand for long periods of time and I want to look good while doing it! Selfish, yes, but that is why. The summer concert season is approaching and I can't wear sweaters.
I need to be held accountable, I need to learn what I can do better. I don't want rapid weight loss...I want to do it right, I want it sustainable.
