I have been a member here for a while, but gave up and just stopped trying to lose weight. I am officially back on the wagon again, and this time it really seems to be working. I started back in the fall after I stepped on the scale and saw 250. I refused to get on the scale for a while after that because I was positivly horrified. 250 is the weightlimit on some things, that was all I could think was that I had maxed out the weight limit.
So, I finally decided that I had to make a change. My blood pressure was bad, I snore so loud my husband couldn't sleep in the same room, and my knees were killing me. I started going to the gym back in the fall and started watching what I ate, slowly... nothing drastic but small changes so that I wouldn't want to give up.
I made my biggest change in January when I officially stopped drinking Pepsi. I LOVE Pepsi, but I am killing myself by drinking so many calories everyday. It hasn't been too bad. I am actually starting to like the way that I look again, I still have a very long way to go but I am on the road at least.
I started at over 250, remember I refused to get back on the scale after that and I am currently 208. I have gone from being a tight size 20 to a very loose 18. I could probably wear some 16 now but I dont' have any at the moment.
