  • Hey everyone!

    Im Amy, 22, and am here to lose weight with all of you

    I've struggled with an eating disorder a few yrs ago, but now Im solid enough in recovery to lose weight the healthy way & reach a healthy weight. I was 108 but have settled at 155 for about 6 months. I'm looking to jump start a healthy lifestyle with south beach & settle in at around 125-lbs (at 5'5'').

    I'm returning to school to become a registered dietitian to work in the eating disorders clinic

    Today is my day 1 of P1 and so far, so great!

  • Welcome! Sounds like you have a very realistic goal for yourself in losing weight, and a wonderful goal in terms of your future career. You will have so much insight and experience to share with clients who will be able to relate to you -- your future looks bright!

  • hi! and good luck! i know it can be tough trying to diet without falling back into old habits and rituals. sometimes, i can't count calories because i immediately find myself not wanting to go about 700 a day or something silly like that. instead i just plan out my daily food, just concentrating on portion size and whole foods etc, and try not to do the math! lol.
