Hi everybody, I'm starting again--I did Medifast last summer for about two months and did pretty well (16 pounds), but want to get going again :-)
My goal is not to stray--that was my problem last time! I didn't do any forums, so thought this would be great for those evenings where I want some company besides food, so let me know if you want to talk about how great we'll look in a few months :-)

Hey, it happens but it sounds like you're back on track and ready to get going - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.
Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated and inspired - you'll be a wonderful addition to any of them. Try the weight loss support forums, they're active and very helpful - also the Success stories are a definite must for motivation. Check out the Medifast forum too - there's a wonderful group of people to share support and advice with.
There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.
I've only been here since last fall, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of going off track or giving up. It has made all the difference in my success so far.

Hey Gretta!!! I'm not on much in the evenings, but you could text me if you wanted!!! GRETTA ~ yes, this is a great place to come at night to distract yourself from munching. Lots of great people here and very supportive. Look around, read some, then jump right in wherever you feel comfortable ...
POKEY ~ time will whiz by and you will be able to PM very soon; about 20 days I think -- same for a ticker: 20 days & 20 posts ... not too long.

POKEY ~ yes, I know some people find that a long wait, but there is some techie reason for it; you have to be a member for so long. There is a thread about it in the ANNOUCEMENTS & INFO forum; lots of other very helpful info there too, esp for newbies.
You could while away your time doing lots of reading; as there is lots of info on this site; lots of eating plans; diets; exercise threads; games & jokes; and many others too ... have fun and enjoy it!

The thing I am most excited for right now is Saturday - I signed up for this food co-op called Bountiful Baskets. HUGE basket of fruits and veg for only $16.50. Bought at a grocery store, it's over $50. I'm jazzed -- but I'm going to need to come up with some creative stuff to make with all the veggies; my husband is not a veggie eater and is really reluctant to try anything he thinks he won't like...it's a challenge!
POKEY ~ those baskets sound nice; and that is a great price too! There is a Vegetarian Forum here and I think there are some recipes that you might like to try; take a mosey over and have a seesee ...
