Well, my name is Karen. I've been a member of 3fc for oh about two months, just kinda hanging out reading what everyone has to say and trying to learn how to navigate the site! Lots of info and motivation!

I'm trying to lose baby weight, but wonder if it still qualifies as baby weight since my daughter was born over a year ago and I have yet to lose a pound! Right now I actually weigh the same as when I went to the hospital to give birth!!

I also gained a lot of weight in my first pregnancy, and took over a year to get motivated and into the gym but one I did it came off pretty quick, so I'm hoping that once I set my mind on my goal weight, I will lose it, I'm not so much worried about losing fast, but losing it the healthy way so that it stays OFF! I'm only 26, but watching the news and hearing all these stories about heart health, I am also motivated to eat healthier so that when I am older, I will have a good quality of life. My goal right now, is to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 136, once I hit that goal, I might want to lose 5 lbs. Right now, I am focusing on losing 25 lbs! WOW! I haven't decided on a specific diet as of yet, I'm focusing on just eating healthy and getting some form of exercise into my routine...baby steps!
