Default Noob, using Alli and Low Fat

Hi. I am new here. I am needing to lose weight for several health reasons. I have about 140 lbs to loose total. I ordered the Alli Starter Pack and the Alli Diet Plan book today. I am getting ready to start using Alli and sticking to a Low Fat Diet Plan. I would love to hear from others who have used Alli and lost weight. Any tips or thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome to 3FC! It's totally doable - you can make it happen! And Alli works, but you have to be good about keeping your fats reasonable.

Hi Luvin!
Sounds like you're ready to get started with a great attitude - the support you need is here - you can do this and we'll all be here to cheer you on!

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! There's also info and first hand advice on different eating plans and exercise to help get through the ups and downs.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

All the best - good luck with your goals,
Lee

I use Alli occassionally, really only before I go out to eat or if I feel like I'm going to have a meal that might be higher in fat than I'd like. I've been lucky to not have any noticeable treatment effects other than maybe going often.

I think even better than Alli is simply adjusting your diet to contain a lot less fat than you've probably eaten in the past. Sounds good!

Welcome! I just joined yesterday myself. I have thought about using Alli but am fearful of the side affects. So I am just counting every single calorie that goes into my mouth. Keep us posted on how you do in it!!! And good luck!

I was just considering using Alli! I would love to hear about your results and how you feel about it. I'm always nervous to take anything because I don't want any weird side effects.

And welcome! Good job setting goals for yourself...I'm sure you'll do just as well acheiving them.
