Smile Hi I am new..and starting the extreme fat smash

I was reading over the diet and wondering if anyone knows...can I eat the Special K crackers as a snack in Phase 1 - 3...or do I have to start in Phase 2 because it is a bread item?
What are good options for snacks?
Thanks for the help

Hi Hope!
Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained! You'll also find info and first hand experience about different plans, like Fat Smash, to help you along.

There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.

So welcome - you 've found the right place - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

Hello Hope,

I would recommend toughing the first week out by using the snacks listed in the book only because this is the cycle you will lose the most weight so take advantage of it. After that snacks should be 100 cal or less, I would only do snacks on the days that I am not filling very full or satisfied.

Good Morning ladies, I finally subscribed to this thread so I can never lose you guys again.
I am on the EFS diet and to change the foods up I usually cook my brown rice about 4 servings at a time and then when I need to have the brown rice for a meal I would sautee some onions and minced garlic with very little olive oil then add the rice and some soy sauce just like the chinese restaurants. It makes a huge difference. I get creative with my beans like I would made some white kidney beans with some chili ready tomatoes (sold in a can). I also like to use spanish and mexican seasonings for my beans, tomatoe sauce, sofrito, recaito, onions, garlic. You can never go wrong with onions. Even with my veggie or soy burgers I will sautee onions to eat with it. Bake chicken and fish with basil, italian seasoning, oregeno, etc... I'm a straight garlic veggie person it's great with spinach and stringbeans, but my brocoli has to have a little sweet & sour sauce (made by hellmans now) and soy sauce. Ladies being creative will get you very far on this diet.

Can we keep this thread alive? I'm on EXTREME which is slightly different from the regular fat smash.

Hello tryinhard to lose. I am doing and am experienced with the EFS. I've been keeping another Fat Smash link alive along with another member, but they are doing the original Fat Smash. We share very similar dieting.

Hello Ladies
Karla try mexican seasoning with the beans and try roasting or baking the chickpeas.
