Default Feeling motivated (at the moment)

I am 36, married but seperated, have 3 super kids and quit smoking 6 weeks ago. I am about 25 to 30 pounds heavier than I want to be. I think about my weight daily, but I guess I've just been to lazy to do anything about it. I've tried numerous times to lose weight and tone up, but give up after a couple of weeks. I have never been in a forum before and I am hoping this will help me stay motivated.
I just wanted to introduce myself and say "Hi"

Hi 3superkids! You're going to have fun at 3FC! If you ever feel like just giving up, come on here and share, there'll be other people to help you. I've almost done that at least 10 times! (haha) And always was able to jump on the wagon. (thanks 3FC!) Good luck on your weight loss! you can do it!

Greetings, 3SuperKids. You've chosen an excellent place to find support. Personally, I've found that jumping into a challenge is a great way to hold myself accountable. That, and every day, sometimes multiple times a day, I confess in the Daily Food and Exercise Confessions thread. Accountability is really important to my success, without it, I have a tendency to procrastinate. Another great resource is the success stories and before/after pictures. They're so inspiring.

We have lots of different people, but one thing I find in all of them is they are very supportive. Those who are just starting out and those who have already lost a lot of weight. You've got a great support system now. We'll help you reach your goals.

Glad to have you join us! There are lots & lots of different groups and forums - I'm sure you'll find some that will keep you motivated, inspired and entertained!

There are lots of people here with more to lose and lots with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a short time myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.


So welcome aboard - congrats on all your success so far with smoking - join in by inspiring us and being inspired!

Thank you all for the encouraging words!

I am following WW points on my own right now. Up until yesterday I was doing well. I vowed to get back on track today, but I started my day with a bowl of oatmeal followed by a cream cheese danish worth 10 points! Now I'm at work starving because I need to save the remaining points for dinner.
I am suffering because of bad choices. Story of my life!

I will stay within my points range today, even if means suffering, and I will stay on track tomorrow!!!
