Default Boo, can't lose anymore.

When i came home from uni i was approx 12 stone. I managed to get down to 11 but have yo-yo'd between 11 and 11.5 ever since and I don't seem to be able to lose anymore. I am still concentrating on a good diet and exercise, i swim as often a possible and my job is reasonably active especially with all the extra hours i am getting, but i still don't be able to get my weight down any further. I often eat late cos sometimes i don't finish work til 8/9 at night which may be factor but i can't really do much about that. Please, can anybody help?

What are you eating? Post a typical day's menu so we can help you. What you eat is very important.

What i eat varies really as to what i'm doing.

Breakfast is a rare thing, but when i do have it i might have a cheese toastie, (white bread with small amount of cheddar cheese) or occasionaly dry cereal (i'm mildly lactose intolerant so although i can have small amount of cheese i can't really have milk)

Lunch: If i am at work i'll take a packed luch which may consist off a small home made chicken caeser salad or chicken caeser wrap (M&S or Ginsters) with something sweet a biscuit or small cupcake and a piece of fruit. At home i often walk down to my local grocery store and buy a brown crusty roll, i will have that with a small amount of butter and sometimes a slice of cheese, i might also have small bowl of crisps.

Dinner: Cos of my awkward working hours if i am working late i might have salad or a toastie when i come home. My mum doesn't like to cook so we often have ready meals or supermaket bought pizzas or if i cook myself i will often make pasta bake or spaghetti bolognaise (the extent of my cooking repertoire). I eat a lot of veg, mostly home grown. Takeaway once a week. I try to limit my portions if i don't want to eat too much i will leave what i don't want.

P.S. Sorry wrong forum. Should've been in UK FC

It appears to me that you may not be eating enough. Your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every ounce if you limit to much. I would recommend keeping track of you calories on www.fitday.com to see if you are eating enough. At your weight, depending on your activity, you should be getting 1600-1700kcal per day.
