Red face Another intro post!

Hello all!

I decided to make the most of my time on the internet and look up weight loss communities. I found 3FC and decided that this was the type of place I wanted to join!

I've gained about 15 lbs since 2007 after I got married. Before that I was working out all the time - at the gym during lunch at work and then a tae kwon do class at night 4x a week.

After I was married we moved 40 minutes away -- I lost my tae kwon do school - one belt shy away from black belt.
I got another job that does not allow me to use the gym on the grounds.

So after a year of doing nothing and realizing this wasn't working for me I looked into a few places. I joined another tae kwon do school - 6 months later I dropped it. It bored me (which that takes a lot because I've loved martial arts since I was 12). It was only twice a week and repetitive.

Then I joined a gym and for a few weeks I'll go non stop and do about an hour a day -- but the pounds wouldn't come off. It frustrates me so I'll lay off the gym for a few weeks and then go back.

I've been trapped at this weight for over a year. I'm hoping this community can give me suggestions on how to get on track and stay there -- and most importantly -- get some results.

Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

I've found that exercise accounts for 20 percent of my weight loss, and eating accounts for the rest.

So, what plan are you following? How are you altering your diet?

Well, right now I want to start fresh. So I have been trying to eat a lot more fruits and veggies. I'm not really following a plan right now but looking for one.

Basically, right now I'm searching for a new plan of attack.

I've been looking through the food part of the forum and looking for new recipes to prepare.

I've also been reading about fellow posters and what things have worked for them. It's very encouraging to see what others have tried.
