I'm Steph I'm 27 and I started my Weight Loss Journey on 5/13/09, after going to the doctor and listening to her suggestion of trying Weight Watchers. I was having back pain and was getting closer to borderline diabetes and was ready to make a life style change. My Dad's side of the family has a history of being large and I'm working to no longer fall into that category. At my heaviest weight, right before I joined WW I was 269.6 and while in college at my lowest I was 140. I have always struggled with my weight. Unfortunately I took the wrong approach to losing weight while in college, I lost it too fast and then ended up gaining three times as much back after.
I have lost about 34.6 pounds since May, I've started the journey but I have a long way to go to get to my goal, just taking it one day at a time. I'm taking all the support I can get as well.
We have a wonderful Weight Watchers forum here. We also have the 100 lb club, for those working toward losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more, as well as the 20-somethings, for those in that age range. So look around!
Most of all, jump in and keep posting. Can't wait to get to know you better!
Welcome to the forums. I'm new here, too. You're off to a great start and I'm glad you joined. This is an excellent community and I wish you success in achieving your goals.
