Hello everyone! I'm excited to be here!
Just wanted to say hello, I just joined a couple of days ago.
I decided it was time to seriously lose weight and get healthy September 1. Since then I have been eating healthy and doing one hour of tae bo every day. I have lost 8 pounds in a week and a half, which seems to be too fast but I think my body is just shocked lol.
I think this site is just the inspiration to help push me to stick the plan this time around. I know that this is something I have to do because I feel like i have no control over my body and weight gain right now and it's a scary feeling. I am engaged and supposed to be planning a wedding but I refuse to do anything because I can't imagine myself in a wedding dress and being the center of attention.
I have always been somewhat on the heavier side, usually at the "high end" of the range for my height, but since my junior year of high school, 4 years ago, I have gained 60 pounds!!!
I have decided to be realistic and put my goal at about a 75 pound loss. I am feeling very excited and motivated! I really love looking at all of the progress pictures and stories from others on this forum and I hope to one day post some before/after photos of myself.
