I am 27 and from rhode island. I am looking to lose a little over 100 pounds. I have a failing thyroid, however, and no health insurance, so I know it may not be easily achieveable. I want a buddy to share successes, work through hard times and slumps and to hold each other accountable. I am so ready for this now, but having someone to share this journey with would be great.

Hi Firenflux! I am pretty new here as well. I too have a problem with my thyroid, but I am on medication for it. I am basically same height and weight as you are right now. I'd be more than happy to help you out or lend support when needed!
