Hi there everyone! I just want to say hi, and tell you all how happy I am to be here... I used to be a very active person, running or biking daily and never had to worry so much, but life happened and well I let it. I stopped exercising and my eating habits, albeit were never great..worsened over the last 6 years.. so here I am and ready to make the changes necessary to be the very best version of me I can be!
Thanks Michelle!!! You truly are an inspiration.. how have you lost all of that weight?... and YAY for you on quitting smoking.. I am an ex smoker as well.. I started around the time I stopped everything else that was GOOD for me.. lol I did small 2 or 3 month quits here and there and something would trigger me to buy "just one pack".. and sometimes it was just the one pack .. most times I would then end up smoking for another cpl of months and the cycle went on.. but as of February of this year I have offically quit.. I did have one small slip when a very dear friend died in her 8th month of pregnancy at the age of 36 back i n June, but it was one pack and now I find through the grace of God I do not even have a craving for one,, even when times get tough...
And good luck to you while you strive towards your next goal!!
I am a calorie counter. I journal every bite and drink I take in each day. I also exercise.. 2 days just cardio, 3 days cardio + strength and 2 off days. And most importantly, I always remind myself only I am in control if I succeed or fail and I just plain ole refuse to fail anymore .
