Good evening!
What can I say? I'm a chunkster and I'd like to change that.
Let's see, about me... I'm 25 and recently married to a wonderful man who loves me just the way I am. Yep, he's one of those "chubby chasers." lol We knew who the other one was in high school but he swears he was too scared to ask me out back then. He left immediately after graduation to serve in the Army. When he got home, I happened to come across him on Myspace of all places. We started hanging out and within weeks, he asked me to marry him. We live in central Florida with our 6 dogs, 3 cats, and a squirrel named Steve. I love to read, write, and when I can find the time, write. I'm currently in school at USF which I hope to finish next summer.
I've been living the low-carb lifestyle for 3 weeks today and I'm feeling great! I've lost 13 pounds total so far. This is my second go-round with the low-carb lifestyle. I've got the typical story... girl goes on diet, girl loses some weight, girl meets boy, girl gains weight back. Well, he married me at my all-time high of 390. My wedding dress was a size 32 and it made me sick.
Ideally, I'm not so concerned with numbers on the scale for my goal weight, but I do use those daily numbers for motivation and to see how eating different things effects my daily losses or gains. Staying on track right now is really important to me because in May I had a miscarriage. My doctor swears it wasn't the weight, but deep down, I have a feeling it was. For me, I would love to just be half what I weigh now. If I could make it to 200 pounds, I'd be living the high life.
That's me in a nutshell I suppose. Of course being able to get pregnant and have a healthier pregnancy is a huge motivation for me, but I also have other motivations such as being able to ride horses again, being able to do the ziplines when we go on our cruise, and being in better shape to go kayaking more.
