Default New here :)

Hi everyone! I'm Melinda and I'm hoping that being active here will help me to stay on track. I've lost 80lbs in the past - went from 215 to 134 - but fell back into old habits and gained most of it back. Went from 199 to 253 while pregnant with my first son, and was 220 when I got pregnant with my 2nd son. Went up to 250 with him, and am currently at 225 (he's 8 months old). I'm starting out focusing on getting to both pre-pregnancy weights, then I'll focus on the rest. I'm looking forward to giving and receiving support and hoping making some new friends

Hi Melinda I am also new and can relate. I weighed 235 and lost 100 pounds managing to keep it off for years. I have gradually gained most of it back ... I still cannot believe that I allowed that to happen. I am now back on track and hope to make this my last weight loss journey!

Hi Melinda:

As you say, I think giving and receiving support (in other words, not feeling alone) makes a world of difference in how we view both ourselves and our world.

You are not alone. We're all in the same boat. I'm thankful that change is available - that emotional, physical healing is available - or else, where would we be? Good luck and be good to yourself!
