I started today here too. The journal is a good idea. What plan are you on? I'd like to lose 80 lbs so that's a lot too.
I am following the LA Weight Loss program w/o the LA Lites (too expensive); so basically a low carb diet. What are you doing?
I am still trying to figure that out. I love low carb but not all the fat in most of the plans. First thing should be to start eating healthier foods and to ditch the junk. Just to get through a couple of days with clean eating would be nice.
