Hey Everyone!
My name is Katie, I'm about to be 29 in September, and am a married mother of two living children and one angel who died in December 2007.
I'm about 70 pounds heavier then I was on my wedding day (just 5 years ago) and nearly 100 pounds heavier then I was when I met my husband (about 7 years ago), I'd love to lose anywhere from 70 to 100 pounds, though I think I'd be happy with 55, which would bring me to nice 199lbs.
I'm an emotional eater, and a stress eater, and having two young kids while dealing with the grief of having one of our twin boys pass away (at 20 days old) has left me doing a lot of extra-curricular eating. I'd love to break the habit of feeding my emotions and get started with weight loss and finding "me" again!
Since we'd like to have another baby sometime soon, I need to get a handle on my weight now, otherwise I know I'll only continue to gain and my self esteem and relationships will suffer.
I hope to find motivation, information, support and friendship here, having people who "get it" will surely help!
