i used to be on this site a little over a year ago...back when i was making progress on my weight loss. i had some setbacks and gained a bit (15 pounds) back in the last year and have rededicated myself to the process. i also had lap-band surgery in april. it is still a difficult process for me. i still struggle with making the proper food choices, eating slower and following all of the proper guidelines for being post-op. i hope by rejoining this site, attending the educational classes given by my surgeon (post-op) and the support groups will assist me in maintaining proper motivation on why i started this in the first place. i have been overweight most of my life (since the age of 9)...and have never been successful at reaching my weight loss goals. my biggest success was losing 85lbs in the last two years and keeping 70lbs of that off. i am hoping to lose another 85lbs in the next year or two. i think with your help and support along with a rededication to a regular exercise routine i should be able to reach my goal by my 37th birthday! i am really looking forward to making connections here. good luck to all of you on your journey...
