Hi, I'm new and fat again!

  • I am assuming that no introduction in this forum are from people that are happy to be here!

    My name is Kim. I have 2 kids. I'm 5'2". With first dd i was a fit 140 when I got pg. 195, when I delivered and got down to 160. With dd 2, I was 215 when I delivered. 215 on 5 foot 2 inches is not hot, and neither is the 195 I am now.

    I can diet like crazy thats not really the problem, but its not worth a damn if I binge when I am not on my diet..

    I'm sorry I am frustrated, I cannot believe I let myself get this way.
  • Hello and Welcome! If you have to learn that diets don't work. Food is not the enemy!!! Emotions are!! Life is complex and so our mindset. Get active,keep a journal of your daily thoughts..drink water, and important, make some peace time with yourself,.. You can do it and Good luck!!

    It's not about being on a diet it's about changing the way you look at food! You have to find a way to lose the weight that works for you not just for today or this week but for the rest of your life!

  • ^ what they said. You CAN do this! You just have to really, really want it bad enough, and be willing to do the inner reflective work to get yourself there. I highly recommend blogging; it's done wonders for me in 5 short weeks!

    For me it's about changing how I eat, and what I eat....and what I do when I don't feel like doing anything.
    I'm new here and have 3 clean weeks on South Beach. I am on the way down and am feeling better already.

    I really appreciate the support and friendship I have found here in 20 short days.
