Hi everyone, I was looking for a weightloss community and came across this one and it seem to have everything i was looking for. Lots of different forums and caring and supportive people. A little about me. I am married and have 2 kids. My oldest is 18 and planning a wedding. We are both trying to lose weight to look better for the wedding. Although i have much more to lose. I have been gaining the weight for the last 10 years. I weigh 222lbs and am only 5'4" About 2 years ago i found out i have diabetes and high cholesterol. That devestation put me in a depression. Now i take medication for all three problems. I am currently feeling better and ready to tackle this. My daughter and I signed up for Curves today. I hope that and this community, where i can talk with people who understand what i am going through, will help me achieve a long awaited goal.
2 goals- to get down to 140lbs and to get off the medication for diabetes and cholesterol
