Unhappy Sure hope I am doing this right

I have been morbidly obese all my life, several times i have lost down to a decent weight but never have been able to keep it off. Now I'm 50 years old with my hips, knees and ankles all telling me its time to get serious about keeping it off. For that reason I've made the decision to become interactive instead of observing.I know there are a lot of good people with good advice who are more than willing to help me with my challenge.I'm approximate 5'5and over 350 lbs so I definitly belong here.Thank you for all your help.

Welcome!

I found joining and actually becoming involved in the conversations was much more helpful than just reading posts from the sidelines.

So good for you and good luck!

That is sad! I sure hope you get to enjoy her soon. Next to my family, my bike gives me much joy

Do you have any particular plan in action for your healthier changes?

Glad you found us! Feel free to join us over on the "active folks over 50" thread. We love new folk! 3FC is a great resource for losing weight - and you really can do it, even after 50! This can be a fun and en "lightening" journey.

Just watching calories and what I eat, just getting started back walking for exercise. I am sure some things will change as time goes on. To conclude,
riding is probably the thing I enjoy most. I do hope to be back on the road before to long.
