I'm about 80 pounds overweight! Trying to find a diet I can live with. Any good tips out there? What works for you?

Hi and welcome aboard. I don't diet, but I did change the way I ate by calorie counting. I also exercise a lot. That's about it for me. But there are all kinds of ways to drop weight, just take a look around this site and see what may work for you. Good luck!

Coybug, I also calorie count with my primary focus being on whole foods. It absolutely without a doubt, does work. I started in May '08.

Welcome Coybug! Another calorie counter here and it does work. The best part is no food is off limits. But you should find a plan that you can live with. There's lots of information in this community. Check it out.

Calorie counting is a good way to start. Remember you don't have to have it all figured out right now. Your plan may evolve as you go. Good luck!
