Default Hello from Sunny San Diego

Hi Everyone,
I have read posts on this site for years and have finally decided to join. The reason is because for the past two months I have been working out almost everyday. I joined a gym, took 'before' pictures and I am ready to get this done!! My hubby is working out with me too It's awesome!

I am 34 and can't seem to get the weight off. I got married Nov 2007 and I was fitting into size 6 clothes. After the wedding and the honeymoon I gained about 30 lbs. Let's just say that the jeans I got on the cruise (honeymoon) with, didn't fit me on the way out...and it just got worse.

I am ready and I can't wait to keep on reading everyone's success stories!!

Wishing everyone luck!!

Hi and welcome! I envy you living in San Diego :-)
You'll love it here at 3FC.

As for feeling like you can't get the weight off - I truly felt like that too. For a year. When I started listening to my body - I mean REALLY truly stripping down any ego or denial, I realized that my instincts were that I was just eating too much. Yes it was 1600 or 1800 calories, but it just wasn't working for me. I also changed the way I ate too. That was January and while I've only lost 7 lb, I didn't GAIN 7 lb!!!

Good luck!

Welcome to 3FC!! Surf around and settle in! We have subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more!

We have a few San Diego chicks on here. I lived there for about 8 years. Nice (but expensive!). Be sure to check out the 30 something forum.
