Hello all! I am finally here and ready to lose! I want to lose 100 lbs! Should I start mini goals? Maybe 10 at a time?

Hi Razorcandy! I think setting mini-goals helps people to be more successful in their weight loss efforts, so I think it's a great idea. It makes a big goal seem not so daunting! There are many great challenges to help you along under support groups, "Chicks up for a Challenge." Check it out! And good luck!!

You're right, mini-goals are the way to go. Have you decided how you're going to do it yet?

Hi Razor and welcome to 3FC!

You start by doing whatever it is that'll get you started. A goal can be almost anything. Sometimes it's just getting through one day without eating junk food!

Read lots and post lots. We're glad you're here and are anxious to get to know you better.
