Default New to the message board

I love message boards and hate diets. I'm fat and I would like to lose weight very gradually without changing my lifestyle, I know that's a lot to ask but I'm almost 50 (47) and I spent the first 30 years of my life worrying about my weight, when I wasn't fat.

Now that I am fat I would like to do stuff that contributes to weight loss, I walk and keep moderately active but because I like beer I am cursed, LOL. Why are there so many women who are skinny and still drink beer.

Don't have much to say now but I hope I can get some good advice on this message board.

Hi..I'm new here also...and I have enjoyed reading the message board..I am so encouraged by all the people who are having success..I've just started to change my eating habits, and for me, it's going to be a lifestyle change..staying away from junk food and fast food will make a real difference..and just seeing all the people who are really doing so well here makes me want to stay with my changes....Hope you have success also..TC

Be sure to check out the 40 something forum.

A question I ask myself sometimes: Is _________ worth not reaching my goal? You might fill in the blank with beer....Is it worth being fat to have beer? Doesn't mean you need to give it up 100%, but just have it occasionally perhaps. Good luck!

Default New to the site and looking to get some feed back!
