Hi, my name is Caroline and stumbled upon the 3 Fat Chicks books recently, thought that I would give this group a try. I'm currently following WW Online as my diet of choice but looking for a little additional support. I recently suffered an injury at work so my exercise regime is taking a beating, the only exercise I'm getting is from my physiotherapy (joint swelling makes extra movement painful).
Weight loss has been a decade long struggle for me....lose then gain...gain then lose but I'm "HOPING" this time will be different. I would like to try having a baby and the thought of having a baby at my current weight scares the crap out of me.
I'm open to any hints, tips or tricks so feel free to drop me a line. I look forward to being a member of this group and having others to draw on.
Well HI there CAROLINE . . . from another Maritimer. I'm in Pictou but originally from Ontario so I know I'll always be "from away". Nice to have someone else in the same time-zone, Chickie -- glad to have you with us. Have you discovered our very active Weight Watchers Forum yet?
Keep up with the Physio! It's working for me also. And I am with you on the support thing. I find just that little bit of extra support helps along way!!
Thanks for the replies, I haven't checked out the WW section of this group yet, but it's on my to do list. I'll be lurking around and I'll keep you all posted.
CAROLINE ~ from another Canadian; not only is there a WW thread, but there is a Canadian one in the Support Groups Forum, and Physical Challenges in the Dieting with Obstacles Forum, where those of us with injury related issues support each other ...
