Welcome to 3FC! Surf around and settle in. We have subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more!

My advice is: don't rely on motivation. It is fleeting. Plan, plan, plan, and when the plan gets messed up, get back on plan. Good luck to you! (but don't rely on luck either!)

Don't beat yourself up. It's too easy when we're fat to fall into thinking that we're stupid/ugly/worthless/disappointing too. WE ARE NOT! YOU ARE NOT!

Finding here is a huge step forward. You have begun your strategy. While you look round and see if there are any ways of eating here that appeal to you, a really useful idea would be to spend this week keeping a detailed log of what you eat and when. Don't deliberately change things - although you might find as the week goes on, having to write down things like "a great lump of fatty pork with all the crackling, roast potatoes and parsnips, a huge hunk of treacle tart and double cream with a large bar of chocolate to follow" (a previous frequent meal of mine) is so oops that you choose to change it.

Either way, knowing exactly what and how much you eat is the basis for deciding what you will eat in the future to improve.

Good luck!
