Red face Hello Everyone!

I hate writing these things out and describing myself, but I have made a committment to actually do this thing and finish it once and for all! My name is Samantha. I currently weigh around 340 pounds and I am 5'10". I was topping 370 pounds at one time about a year and a half ago. I got down to 317 and hit a plateau. I tried and tried and tried to make that scale budge but no dice. I ended up being a "fat" bride last november and agonized over my failure to not reach my goal of 300 by the wedding. I actually have gained 23 pounds since the 317 mark. I really want to have a baby next year and I want to be healthy. My first pregnancy is when I gained all the weight. I went from 200 pounds to 360. I was put on bed rest for 2 weeks near the end of it because my blood pressure was so high. I don't want to go through that again. I must do this before it gets out of control again! I need help, encouragement, love, support (even in my slip ups), tough love and understanding. By reading some of the forums here, I can see that won't be a problem. My two biggest problems are I love to eat, just about anything, and I hate, I mean HATE exercise. I should actually narrow that to cardio :P. Starting tomorrow I am on the wagon, yet again. I will post pics and progress as I go along and please don't hesitate to nudge, plead, beg and demand proof positive, I NEED TO BE COERCED!!! LOL
By the way, my mother-in-law gave me the nickname Tonks because she loves the Harry Potter series (as do I) and I dye my hair all sorts of cool colors. Currently my hair is cookie monster blue with hot fuschia on the bangs with purple fading in and out here and there. If anyone wants to know the secrets to dying your hair funky colors and getting it perfect, just ask!

Welcome to 3FC! Surf around and settle in. We have subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more!

Check out the 100 lb Club and the 300 lb Club for great motivation. Also, consider strength training for a great workout! Walking is also a great place to start!
