usually I would browse the boards, really looking at all the pictures everyone has posted, and its a real motivation to get my butt in shape.
I've joined a gym. Three times a week, and me and my hubby have just gotten the wii fit.
Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Looking forward to posting!
Hi Lindsay!! I love looking at the pics as well... great motivation! The people here are amazing and truly helpful With them I'm sure the weight will just fall off.. at least thats what im hoping for and dont feel bad bout only being 20 (im only 18) but to be honest getting healthy now is the best thing.. the longer you stay at an unhealthy weight the worse it is for ya... Hi Lindsey. I'm 30 and I'm considered obese. That's horrible for me to hear. I've been fighting it off and on for 3 years now when I finally realized how much I had gained.
When I was 18 I was only 145 and in a matter of 10 years gaining approx 10 lbs a year I was shocked. I have 3 children and have been through several minor surgeries. I did blood work about 3 years ago and the doctor flat out told me that the only reason I'm overweight is due to me over eating. Guilty! I like food! I don't have an eating disorder, I just like to eat.
I do have some body issues and I know that my eating & lack of exercise has some to do with the negativity I received from my step mother (who was overweight). So I have a lot to work on and I have a lot to do. I'm so excited about this site and I can't wait to make new friends!
