Newbie!
Hey everybody. My name is Katie and I'm a newbie to this message board. I've heard good things about it via the grapevine and stuff, and since I've made the decision to start working on my weight and get healthier, I thought this would be a great place to start!
I'm an overweight college freshman. As a music education major, I have a million classes to take and no free time. I go to the lower cafeteria for lunch, which consists purely of fastfood options because my choir class takes place during the normal lunch time and the upper cafeteria - healthier and more tradtional, "home cooked" style foods - is closed by the time I can eat. I've made the decision to go healthier. Whether that means getting the salad instead of the burger or going to my dorm room and making a sandwich for lunch first has yet to be determined, but I want to be one of the "cute" girls and I want to be healthier for myself!
So this is my hello...and the start of a journey to a new me!
