Hi everyone!! I'm new to this but am excited to have a network of support. I'm 24 and from Minneapolis, MN. I officially joined Curves today *yay!*. I've been doing the Turbo Jam DVD's but I figured joining a gym would finally get me motivated!
This is the first time I've ever taken the initiative to better my body and life.... it's long overdue....
Any advice, tips and support is more than welcome!!
Yes, Amy, I've done two full workouts down, two days in a row (*yikes!*) and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it.
As for the diet I gave up drinking pop (Mountain Dew was a major addiction) and and really cut back the "empty" calories. I've also been taking CLA, green tea and a time-released multivitamin. Once I get into my routine more I'll start up on the yohimbe. A good friend of mine is a professional strong man so he's been calibrating my vitamins so they work best for me and my needs. Kind of nice
I'm still trying to figure out where to start. I have really let myself go this time. Where did you find time release vitamins? Sounds like you got a plan girl! Keep up the hard work

Have you found the 20-somethings forum yet? You might also consider checking out the 100 lb club, for those on their way to losing or who have lost 100 lbs or more. And of course, there are always our forums by eating plan, miscellaneous groups, and challenges...look around!
