Smile Hello all! New here looking for buddies and support

I am a 38 year old mom to 2 boys ages 8 and 10 and have totally let myself go in the last 10 years. I have gained 135 pounds in that time and am sick to death of not being able to keep up with my husband and kids. Not to mention the fact that my knees and back are suffering terribly from carrying all this extra weight.
For Christmas I bought my family a Wii and we are incorproating the Wii Fit into our daily workouts. I love to do the Yoga and Strength training exercizes and the kids and hubby love the balance and aerobic activities. We do them all even the ones that we aren't so good at. I have noticed a difference in just the first week of using the Wii Fit. My balance is a little better and I am seeing the improvment in my daily workouts.
I am looking for support, healthy eating ideas, and anything else that I may need. I am really excited to become a member of this group and look forward to sharing our successes together.

Nicole

Hi there Nicole,

You've come to the right place. There's a 30-something's area, the 100lb Club (for those with about or more than 100lbs to shed), there are groups based on interest or even challenges. There are sections under Diet Central that you can look into if you're starting a new eating plan. So much to see & chat about.

Post wherever you're comfortable & of course, all the best of success to you!

Hi Nicole! Two boys! I bet you're a busy lady. You have come to the right place for support. I've heard Wii Fit is fun---and it's something you can do with the kids. Settle in and make yourself at home.
