My name is Brittany and I just so happened to stumble across this community and I think it's fantastic. I've seen various others before but this forum seems so much friendlier. I have been overweight most of my life and have once again decided I need to do something about it.
About two years ago I lost 15 kg. But of course, once you stop working out hard 4 days a week it piles back on. This year I've decided I need to get back to where I was.
I'm currently studying at Murdoch University for a degree in National Security, Counter-terrorism, Politics and International studies. I am 18 years old and have just finished my first year! Finally!
In regards to weight loss, its more of an exercise thing for me. I eat relatively healthy (apart from that block of chocolate during the apocalypse week of the month, hehe) but I just find exercise so tedious. I work at Coles on the checkout so that keeps me moving all day, and I also go to Curves about three days a week (even though its the longest half an hour I've ever experienced, lol). So I'm hoping with this push, and with Summer forcing me out of my winter jackets and into a bathing suit, I can stick with it!
I'd love to chat with you all, and I hope to see you around!

Regarding exercise... I know what you mean about it being tedious. Is there anything you can sign up for that you'd enjoy? My husband and I recently started playing badminton, and we're having a blast! We play 3-5 hours a week, and it's so much fun that it doesn't feel like exercise at all.
