Default Starting over again... again!!

Hi everyone, my name is Angela and I am starting all over again with this weight loss thing. I managed to lose 40 pounds a few years ago and felt great but then life got in the way and after 3 years of ups and mostly downs I have gained back almost all of the weight I lost. I went and re-joined weight watchers for probably the 5th time this week but this time I haven't told anyone. I'm hoping to have gotten back into the swing of it by the time people notice and ask what I've been doing. I know people mean well but it adds more pressure when people know and ask about it all the time. Having said all that I know I can't do it all on my own so thats why I'm here. Hope to speak to you all sometime soon!

I too started over and over again. You're tackling a huge health issue and to come back is honoring yourself.

Good luck!

I am new to this forum and I am starting over as well! I joined because I am away at school and don't have much support here, so I figure this might be a good way to get some! I did WW a few years ago and lost quite a bit of weight, but I gained all of it (+30) back! So I am trying again. This time I am trying Lindora...has anyone here had any success with it. I am hoping it will jump start my weight loss.

by the way, what is MRC? I see a lot of posts about it, but don't know what it is!!!

Welcome to 3FC! You did it before, so you know you can do it again! As far as not telling anyone, I understand how yo feel. Not only do you get the added pressure but if for some reason you fail (and I know you won't) then you feel extra guilty and feel like you just want to hide to avoid the questioning stares. But i know you'll be great. Just stick to the boards. We're always here to help. Good luck. Hope to hear more from you soon.

I too am starting over! I understand how you feel! I really dont want every one to know Im doing this right now because thier intentions may be well, but after a while, its hurts. People think its easy to lose weight and its NOT! My friends know that I am always going on a Yo-Yo diet and some times with out realizing it, they say nasty things! I have had two kids and my wieght has not went back down to my pregnancy weight! I am struggling to lose weight and hope that this forum gives me the motivation that I need!
