Unhappy deperately seeking help and advise

Hello from South Texas, I found your community very interesting and I believe that I can get the support and tools I need for a successfull weight lost. I have been attempting to lose weight for the past 12 years and have been on almost every diet from Weight Watchers to LA Weight Loss and can not get results. I came across your community when viewing a website for FullBar. I was tempted to order, but read one of your bloggers entry and change my mind. If any one out there has any advise or tools they use for their weight loss and would like to share it, please I am open for all and any advise. I am even considering gastric bypass surgery, but I want to leave that as my last resort. I do take 30 min walks 4 times a week but understand that this is not enough. My weight is taking over my life and I know that my spouse and childeren can see my unhappiness, when all I want is to give them everything.

you are on the right track! my advice is to do it the healthy way. eat fruits, vegies, lean meats like turkey, and seafood, whole grains, lots of water, and plenty of exercise. the best thing you can give your family is a healthy wife and mother
this site is a great place for support and good ideas! good luck

I understand your desperation. I have found several books helpful: The Beck Diet Solution and Fat Smash Diet most recently. (I really like the Fat Smash Food Plan) - Beck has been helpful with motivation. Good luck!
