Default Hi all!

I heard about this site through MSOS (a military significant other website). I REALLY need to lose a lot of weight before January. My husband comes home from Iraq then and I want to look REALLY good when he sees me.

I got a gym membership to Bally's Total Fitness, but I can not afford the personal trainers. So I am trying to do exercises on my own and ones that a fitness coach taught me on my first day at Bally's. But my eating habits are horrible. I have drastically changed them. I cut out almost all of the fatty foods.. well actually I should say the fried foods. I just need help with the food portion and with the correct exercise routine to lose the most weight in my tummy, hips, waist, and my love handles (that is probably a nickname for waist..).. I am just getting so exhausted and irritated with looking at my body in the mirror.

Also I need to tone up other parts of my body.. I'm pretty sure I get my legs covered and my upper abs. I do cardio 3 days a week and weight training 3 days a week. I vary it up every other time I go to the gym Any suggestions or tips??

Oo!! I drink water everyday and nothing else

Welcome to 3FC!

Sounds like you're making some great changes... good for you!

I know it's a total bore, but have you tried journaling your food/calories? Even if you only do it for a few days. Sometimes we think we're eating "not too badly", but the numbers really add up.
