Default Joined today ..yay!

Hello all!

First off; a bit about me, my nickname is "mar".

I am a working stay at home mom of four, a 17 yr old girl, a 10 yr old boy, a almost 5 yr old girl and an almost 3 yr old girl.

My DH's work schedule makes it very hard to take care of myself..let alone the kids..he works 77 hrs in one wk then he's off the next wk completely..the wk he works; he's pretty much here to eat, sleep and shower..thats about it..
So I am a single parent to all four of them, being their taxi, getting everything done myself with my business etc..all by myself..

most times I don't even eat until dinner; and then with 2 smaller children I can get a few bites in..but then comes nighttime and thats when i'm starving..

I have been in Martial Arts (TaeKwonDo) for a bit over a yr now..havent lost ANY weight; but have toned up (big whoop..) I have gained weight..its mostly muscle..but it pushes my fat out to where I look even worse...
I'm stronger now and can actually complete workouts w/o feeling like I'm going to pass out now..but I have a gut that sticks out now like a beer gut..ugh..

My daughter joined w/me and has lost like 25lbs..darn teens!
My son has joined w/me too and has lost like 6 lbs..kids!

Today I started the US ski team diet (its hard imo) and I'm struggling as I hate raw tomatoes and ok; who am I kidding; I don't like fruits/veggies much at all...

today was 2 eggs boiled/poached and a grapefruit for b'fast..(I ate an orange instead)

its a chemical based diet and has worked for many many of the TaeKwonDo people in our class..
today for lunch I MADE myself eat..yuck! 2 eggs and tomatoes (gag!) and iced tea unsweetened..(huge change!!!)

tonight is 2 hardboiled eggs on a combo salad (NO DRESSINGS ick..so I'm going to use salsa)...

we'll see how long I can do this..its only a 2 wk thing..thats it..I figure I can try it..

My entire family (mom, grandparents etc..) are all morbidly obese ..I'mjust trying to keep from getting there..

I'm in a tight sz 14; but I'm short so it makes me look dumpier..(thanks mom!)..I'm at 176 again..I was down to 160 but I quit b'feeding my li'l one when it was time and wham! weight came on again...

so I'm here..but I'm new..and overwhelmed...but I did make a huge change already; I am drinnking UNSWEETENED tea..small baby steps..but I also ate b'fast which I never do either...

thats a start!!

Going to try to go read up this wk..its hubbys wk to work..so my time is limited!

I don't know much about that diet you are on, but it sounds similar to a diet I did a few times called Quick Trim. Basically you have low and high carb days for 2 weeks. It has more of a variety of foods besides eggs and may be more pallitable for you.
